the concept of a hide-away trash can is great. it would be really outstanding if this trash can came with a lid to reduce odor and built with the ability to attach door on to the sliding rails which would simplify opening and closing

I got this delivered last week and I love it more than I thought I would. I just did my whole kitchen over and didnt like the idea of having a trash can out in the open plus I have dogs who have a habit of getting into the trash. Also, my kids have a habit of opening the cabinet door and fishing around for the barrel and missing most of the time. My husband installed it all the way to the right instead of in the middle so I don't lose storage under the whole cabinet. I can still reach in and store my cleaning supplies. I love it so much..it glides easily, can remove it for cleaning etc[...] Doreen

After moving from my previous home I missed the trash compactor. The step on garbage can I tried was inconveniently located away from the kitchen cooking area not to mention an eyesore. This trash can is easily installed in a cabinet where you want it and out of sight.

We use this trash can in our kitchen and it's the perfect size for us. It doesn't look that big, but it holds quite a bit of trash- we only take ours out once a week. It was fairly easy to install and it works seamlessly.
