With a reputation for creative problem solving, Canadian-born freelance designer, Stephan Copeland, has collaborated with the likes of M.I.T. and NASA. Copeland opened his own Copeland Studios in Los Angeles, where he utilizes industrial design to enhance the physical experience. His Copeland Light for Knoll features a dual mode head that switches between a standard or ambient pool of light, as well as a pioneering spring mechanism in the arm that gives the user more control and range of movement.
