Comments about Workrite Ergonomics Swing Arm:
I have a Westinghouse 24" monitor (L2410NM) and it's too heavy for this mount. The swing arm has a ball socket where it attaches to the monitor. The tension on the ball socket can be adjusted, but even after tightening the adjusting screws all the way down for maximum tension, the monitor still "sags" at the ball joint, causing the face of the monitor to point towards the floor.
The ball joint is this mount's downfall. Even if it could hold the monitor in place without sagging, you have to wrestle with it in order to adjust the monitor position. You're basically fighting the ball joint each time you adjust the monitor's position. It's very difficult to adjust. I have to wrestle with the ball joint just to change the height of the monitor.
The swing arm might be OK for a much smaller monitor. Perhaps with the tension on the ball joint not ratcheted down so much the position may be easier to adjust.

Comments about Workrite Ergonomics Swing Arm:
I am using this mount with a 30" Dell flat screen monitor. I did a lot of research prior to purchase because I specifically wanted movement options in all directions. The screen weighs 25 lbs, the indicated max weight for the mount. The mount is handling the weight very well, six months of use with no problems. I have it mounted directly to the desk with no problems. I found the item for less elsewhere and [...]quickly moved to beat that price.
