The enterprise was started in Mr. Henricksen's garage and moved to a corporate location within a few years.
In its short history, WorkRite earned its place in the "INC 500" top 500 fastest growing privately held companies several years running, and has been on the San Fransisco Business Times' list of 150 fastest growing privately-held companies in the Bay Area. One of their products, the Banana-Board, was awarded the ADEX (Award for Design Excellence) in 1998.
