The two shelves work well. The only complaint I have is that the glass top extends over the mouse area on the keyboard tray. It's a little odd at first.

The clear glass and the dark gray color is what keeps me from giving this desk a 5 and I think it would look much better in all black. The keyboard tray is big enough to have room for a full size keyboard and still have plenty of room for a mouse which is a feature that's hard to find in most desks. The CPU tower sits out in the open which is a good thing for keeping it cool. I've owned the desk for over 3 months and the keyboard tray is not very sturdy and secure especially when it's all the way out. Good desk but bad color and clear glass.
