Solid Star Stool

Ideal in a computer lab or as teachers' chairs in classrooms, the Scholar Craft's Solid Star chairs have a pneumatic lift mechanism to provide a wide range of adjustments to ensure correct positioning for typing or writing. The seat and back are constructed from Melamine Resin solid-plastic and designed with heavy-duty 14-gauge back support for superior strength.

• Swivel pneumatic lift mechanism to adjust seat height from 15" to 20"
• Black five-spoke star base made of high-strength polymer available with five dual two-inch hooded swivel casters or plastic bell glides
• High-impact spacers are located between the metal tubing and solid-plastic back for shock absorbency
• Powder-coated black finish on all frame parts

• Heavy 14-gauge continuous tubular steel frame MIG welded to two 3" x 8 1/2" 12-gauge plates

• Saddle and posture contoured seat and back made of 5/8" Melamine Resin solid-plastic attached to the frame with heavy-duty, self-tapping screws
• No exposed hardware on the surface
