My intention was to use this cabinet in my home office. What a disappointment![...]. However, i was in such need of the drawers that I decided to go on build it, and place it where it would not be seen.The instructions were terse but I've built enough of these to make up for this limitation. Unfortunately, the top drawer was too small for the hole and simply did not catch in the rails. The gap was pretty big, close to 1 inch. The bottom drawer did not have a problem.Moreover the screws for the knobs where too short for the top drawer door. It almost make you wonder if they packed the wrong top drawer.I was left with the option of dismantling the whole thing and shipping it back. Not a simple thing to do with an item like this. I did not have the time for this, and needed at least one drawer.In the end I kept it. I bought new knobs to replace the ones that came with the unit and to get longer screws. I then glued the door of the top drawer to the unit. So I am left with a scratched table top, and one bottom drawer.The only thing I liked is that it was pretty heavy wood. This is something you don't find in many units. However, quality control is quite poor.In the end you get what you paid for. This is a cheap unit built in Southeast Asia. Good wood. Poor construction. Poor quality control.Buyer beware. CSN is out of my shopping list!

It is a great Filing Cabinet. DO be sure to get the tiny screws screwed in all the way - angle is awekward and you need a power screwdriver or drill. One of my screws is stuck out and there fore the bottom drawer does not close all the way without a little jiggle to get around that little screw. STILL easier to operate than my old slider file drawer cabinet!!

Service and delivery comments:

Product in good shape although box was a bit mangled. I had to get another tool packet sent b/c it was missing a screw - I explained it was a christmas gift and they fed-ex the tool packet. Then they alsop sent another one - not sure why. The first filing cabinet was sold out and customer service found me this one - I never would have found it due to the quantity they have - he was GREAT!
