Established in 1939 as the Engineering Supply Company, Mayline has come a long way from its expertise in drafting tables, blueprint files and straightedges. The war years capitalized on our high quality and precision manufacturing for providing highly accurate navigational and mapping accessories for all branches of the military.
Though still a market leader in manual drawing (they invented the straightedge) and large format filing, Mayline has moved to the forefront of office ergonomics. The Mayline Group now includes Tiffany Industries, Kwik File and Mayline products. More on Mayline...

Comments about Mayline Comfort Flip Arm Big & Tall Chair:
I should have listened to the first of only two reviews on this chair and taken heed of his plea do not repeat the error of purchasing this chair. This chair was meant to replace another one in my home office. The only positive thing I can say about this chair is that it has drastically reduced my time spent in my home office. Plus, it has all but eliminated my playing the video game "HALO". My wife now gets to see my face. Not just the back of my head, as I am hovering eyes glued on the computer's monitor.[...]

Comments about Mayline Comfort Flip Arm Big & Tall Chair:
Well it's very sturdy. (But actually not as sturdy as other objects in its comfort class: cinder block, rock, asphalt, nail bed.) Very little cushion and slight bucket seating. Seat is too wide for a standard 60 inch desk... and too high at its lowest setting. The "lumbar" adjustment has only one setting that can be tolerated for longer than 3 minutes - "disabled." As it is pumped up, a spike is gradually inserted into your tail bone - that's it... that's your "lumbar" support. The seat (both bottom and back) are way too big for me. When I sit back in it, my calves rub against the seat cushion (and I am 6 ft 5 inches tall!). I was perfectly healthy, but after 3 days in this chair, I now have back pain. I can't return it, so PLEASE, don't make my money go to waste. If you throw your money away too, what good was my loss?

Comments about Mayline Comfort Flip Arm Big & Tall Chair:
Nice chair for big and tall (6'3", 250 lbs.). Chair seat can be raised 2" higher than most other chairs. Arms flip out of the way so can work closer to a desk than is normally allowed. Bulb for lumbar pump keeps falling off and is essentially useless.
