This wall rack is great for my laundry room. I replaced a white wire style shelf, with the intent to hang semi-dry clothing. This rack looks great, but...the wood bar shelf is flimsy and will only hold lightweight items, and the metal hanging bar slips off extremely easily. I plan to secure it somehow because otherwise it's dangerous.

The weak point is where 2 coat racks are joined together. This bracket needs to be wider to accomodate the ends of the 2 racks and to allow a stronger joint and mounting to the wall. It was frustrating putting it together and having it stay in place but once it was up it serves the purpose well.

Built solid and all parts were correctly manufactured. Design has one flaw when adding two rack in tandem. The coat rack bar must share one base holder. This leaves only a half inch of the bar touching the holder. Any movement of bar and it slips off and fall to the floor. Ended up taping parts of the bar so it wouldn't slip out. Works fine now. If I had to do again I wouldn't buy the longer versions of this. Buy only one three foot length at a time. and put them side by side. Other that this design flaw in the longer lengths it is a good rack for the price.
