While fashion and style have their place, the main criterion for a Herman Miller product has remained constant: Does it truly solve a problem that people care about in a way that improves upon other solutions, or pioneers a new and better answer altogether? The answer is Yes. More on Herman Miller ®...

Comments about Herman Miller® Aeron® Loaded Chair With Graphite Base:
I gave this product 2 stars, not because it's that bad, but reletive to the price and other options out there in the range, it is bad.I do not understand why there is so much hype about this chair; perhaps because it is unique, but unique doesn't mean that it is the best design. I found the Steelcase Think chair after this and immediately returned the Aeron and bought the Think. Problems with the Aeron...The posture fit and lumbar pad are horrible. I tried size B and C chairs and with both of them the top edge of the posture fit annoyingly digs into your back. It is worst when you are reclining. The posture fit works pretty good when you are sitting stright upright, but when you do that there are other problems...When you sit upright in the chair it feels too hard, especially the front edge of the seat. This was the same for all sized I tried, so it's not a size issue. With the Steelcase Think and Leap, they make the chairs with a flexible front edge, which is awesome. The other major issue I had is that when you sit reclined, the arm rests recline with you making for horrible ergonomics if you are typing or using the mouse while reclined, and most people do this. With the Steelcase Think and Leap chairs, when you recline the only thing that reclines is your back so that you can keep the same height and position for your lap and arms in front of the keyboard and mouse. The arms rests move in every direction imaginable so that you can find the perfect position. The Aeron is very durable and heavy, but ergonomically I found it to have many flaws, which the Steelcase chairs did not, so I wouldn't recommend the Aeron and I can't figure out why it is so popular.I was surprised that I didn't find more of these issues mentioned in other reviews, so although I never write reviews, I felt compelled to share this advice since this is such a large purchase for most people.[...] I tried to negotiate this but they wouldn't budge. I recommend finding a local place to try the chairs, even if you have to drive a couple of hours.
Comments about Herman Miller® Aeron® Loaded Chair With Graphite Base:
Order and receipt was easy, accurate, and prompt. The chair is excellent. The assembly instructions could be improved. I would prefer to have the option of disabling the feature that allows the arms to pivot, but this is not a big issue.
