This globe offers an abundance of geographical and astronomical information such as movement types of the earth, the elliptic orbit of the sun, the 24 hour rotation, sub solar areas and a time scale in 24 hour allocations just to name a few. The time of day for any location can be read at any intersection of the respective longitude with the equator on the equatorial ring. When illuminated, the division of day and night and precise political image appears. When not illuminated, the vegetation geography image of the image is displayed.
