The overall design of this cabinet was what attracted me to buy it. The assembly was time-consuming. But the major problem was that one of the side panels buckled when I screwed in a component! In other words, it appeared that the screw may have been a bit too large and when screwed in securely, it began to protrude through the veneer of the panel. It did not break the surface; but it looks flawed now. It just was not worth taking it apart and trying to package it and send it back or even wait to get a new piece. So we are just living with it! So, just be careful when screwing in screws so that they do not go in too far!

I love this filing cabinet. I was hesitant to purchase a lateral filing cabinet since I never used one, but they are of better construction, roomier and the drawers open with ease. A+

I am very disappointed in that the doors do not close evenly. I still love the design, just not the performance.

I bought two of these for night stands. They work great, large drawers for cloths and a large surface for lamps and books. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I've had many compliments on these "file cabinets".
