Easy to construct: Having just moved into a new place I purchased four assemble-yourself items of furniture, so I became well familiar with the different and similar aspects. The TV stand was the best designed, the screws fit and peices came together easily, the instructions were clear, and there was a solid sense of quality, as compared with the other items which often failed in those aspects, required extra tools to force parts together, or left you guessing.
Value - I'm at a point in my life where it's time to upgrade to nice furniture and not look like a college student with throw-away junk furniture. While this may not be "high end", it looks beautiful, and is definitely solid, not flimsy, and the drawers slide smoothly, the doors open and close cleanly and quietly with a sense of quality, the cherry finish is pretty, it goes well with all my other dark cherry furniture. It was one of the least expensive tv stands on this site and most popular, and I can see why. It's really a great peice of furniture, and it fits the size of my TV perfectly - I didn't have space to waste with a gigantic tv stand that fills the wall with space for knick-knacks, I just wanted something to hold the TV and components and no wider, and this was perfect.

The components are nicely enclosed to keep out the dust but the back openings are as easy as pie to get the cords in.

I couldn't be happier with it.

It looks beautiful, holds heavy components. Took a long time to put together, but wasn't difficult. Nice and high so you can see the TV easily. Fits small spaces.

For the not inexpensive price, it was less than sterling in quality. Cheap finish came with two of the four top corners dented and the surface pushed up. Many nicks and scratches. Touch up stick can't cover them. The parts bag had clearly been opened, it was unsealed and the parts were loose in the box. Difficult to assemble. Next time go to a furniture store. this was not my best idea. It was a gift and I'm somewhat embarassed.

This turned out to be a great piece of furniture, both in value and in style. It was a 100+ pound box when delivered and the finished unit is quite heavy as well. It took a good few hours to put the unit together, but that may have been my own fault for hand-tightening all the screws instead of using a drill. My husband finished it up for me with a drill when he got home from work and it cut the time way down. Despite the directions that only a screwdriver is necessary, I would use a drill. The pieces all fit together nicely; the directions were easy to follow. This didn't look like an online inexpensive furniture purchase when completed. The cherry finish is not a bright red but is on the dark brown/red side, which went very well with my bedroom furniture. All in all a good buy.

I am thrilled with the TV stand. It was easy to assemble and definitely has enough space for all the components we are putting in it.

The best part, though, is how nice it looks. If I were to change the door and drawer hardware, it would almost perfectly match the expensive furniture set we already had in the room, so that was a wonderful surprise.

Great for bedroom TV stand. High quality and quiet elegance. Calls for above-average "some-assembly-required" skills, but worth it for patient souls seeking fine product at good price.

I found the instructions to be adequate in assembling this unit and all pieces fit together nicely. The large sticker on the top was messy and difficult to remove though. They should do away w/ it.
