I use this desk every day to work from home. It is attractive when put together and stable enough. However, if you try to lift and move it, it is not stable and feels like it will break--which is not a great feature. Needs more back support to really feel great. It is fairly light too, as when I get to typing too fast on pull-out tray,or the printer is printing a large amount, the desk bounces.[...] Only other concern is that it does mar pretty easily and with 2 young children, that has already happened. :(

This is a decently priced desk that I use to hold my home desktop computer. There is lots of storage space for papers, office supplies, etc. I will say that it is very difficult to move and the top scratches VERY easily. Other then that, the desk looks nice.

The corner desk worked great in my daughters bedroom. It fit great and she loves it. We don't use it with a traditional computer but with a lap top with additional storage.

Useful and attractive for small personal office. Construction was elaborate, and somewhat difficult in constrained space, but can be completed in a few hours. At least another hour required to get all of the drawers to align as well as can be achieved. The combination of drawers and flat surfaces works well for a home-office. However, on first use with a laptop, the normal heat of the device cause differential expansion of pressboard desktop, causing the faux-woodgrain finish to detach and permanently warp along the front face, significantly reducing the attractiveness of the item, and leaving me a lot less pleased with the purchase.

Don't let the three stars fool you, I really do like this desk. Actually the desk is for my daughter and its dimensions and design was perfect for her room. Very large desktop with ample leg room and drawer space. The glass door is meant for a computer tower but I wish they included an option for adjustable shelves within if you were not going to put a computer in it.

Assembly, for me, was a piece of cake. The instruction manual was easy to follow. All the parts were clearly labeled and the hardware was indiviually packaged. The bad news is, and this is where I give the three stars at, that the drawers slides do not line up properly. When closed the drawer does not look level or the don't open smoothly. The top drawer to the right of the glass door I had to add spacers as the drawer sat to far from its slide. Every drawer I had to fanagle to get to open properly or appear level when closed. If you don't have the patience or the know how I wouldn't recommend this desk to you just for this fact.

Don't move this desk more than you have to. The way this desk is built where the huge desktop is basically attach to the rest of the unit with two screws and some dowels. You feel like your going to snap it in half when moving it though it does feel relatively sturdy when set its final position.

In all, this is a really good looking desk that is marred by its poor drawer layout and feeling of breaking the desk when moving. If you feel like you can overcome this desk faults it makes a welcome addition to any ones room.

UPS delivered my desk promptly, actually quicker than I expected. The problem is when my desk arrived the packaging was damaged and there were pieces floating around inside the box. Some were damaged and the desktop edge was slightly damaged. I did not want to wait to get replacement parts so fortuneately the pieces I need to repair with glue were hidden drawer pieces. The desktop edge was repaired with oak colored woodputty.

This is the one problem you need to consider when orderly something like this online as a heavy awkward package like this changes hands many times.

I suggest you do not use UPS for initial delivery. The unit was too heavy for them. The package had been dropped and several parts damaged. Yellow Freight would be better for heavy items.
Customer service was excellant.
