This desk is exactly what I wanted. It is beautifully built; the drawers open and close beautifully. The price was way below what I would expect to pay for a desk of this quality. Only problem? Too many pieces and 51 pages of instructions for assembly.

very nice desk. i was worried due to the reviews i read on the desk that it would be difficult to assemble, but when i began building it i found that not to be the case. i found that it assembled very easily, i had no trouble at all. i like the desk so much i ordered another piece of furniture from the collection.

I am using this is a small business office. Very difficult to put together - took my husband and I 7.5 hours to assemble. The L had to be put on with brute force from me above and he below to make the holes line up. Shows fingerprints, elbow prints, arm prints. I cannot put the mouse on the kb drawer and use the keyboard without ramming my arm into the edge of the desk. I move the mouse to the top surface to slide the kb over to type. That is the only way you can type without a constant battle with the desk edge. The drawers are flimsy, and show marks on them just from assembly, even tho we put everything on a soft blanket to assemble. I will buy a fully assembled desk in the future from a local office furniture store before I would ever order a desk in pieces in boxes!

Very happy with this compact L shaped desk, I looked everywhere and couldn't find one this size. Surface get's smudges but who cares, plenty of space.\nAssembly took awhile but parts are well labled.

This takes too much time to assemble. It took me almost 1 week taking an average of 2 hours per day. The manual has more than 40 pages to install. There are some screws that does not fit easily. I had to give up at one point of time as I broke 2 screwdrivers. I called customer service and they suggested to apply either candle wax or soap on each screw. That did not make any sense. The screws should be designed in such a way that they can easily fix. There are about 30 to 40 screws like that. Overall it is good looking and remember that there is no provision of LOCK on this and also needs frequent wiping on the surface as the fingerprints are easily visible. So I am gonna give 3 star which is not worth so much price and effort to assemble.

I also bought a piece of glass for the top and it looks so professional. I would recommend this desk, and believe me I shopped FOREVER! It was not too hard to assemble(about 5 hours). I like that it has three file drawers.

I run my small business from this desk; the file drawers are within arms reach, which makes it very easy to file or pull files.\nIt is very easy to mar the surfaces.
