Nicely designed, does not look like the standard audio/video cabinet. Comes very well packed. Sturdy construction, heavy and solid. If using for electronics that generate heat, plan on installing cooling fans.

I am elated with this cabinet! It isn't simple to put together but that's mainly because it is of higher quality than most ready to assemble pieces. Once together it is a beautiful, sturdy piece of furniture! I couldn't be happier!! I am using it in my dining room to hold a stereo, wine glasses, etc.

Easy to setup about 1-1/2hrs. Good quality and looks great. I am using it as an audio rack to hold my reciever, cable box, sat box, XBox and blue ray. Had to install fans because of heat issue. That would be my only complaint but was to be expected. Issue was easily resolved.

I found the cabinet to be relatively easy to assemble, but I've put together a few other pieces recently and am used to the idiosyncrasies and mediocre information in the instructions. In fact, the instructions are the only thing I have any complaint about. There are a few steps where it is near impossible to determine the correct alignment of a part. For example, in the illustration of the drawer slides you really can't tell which end is which. This is important because if you get it backwards your drawer won't slide in when you're finished. Fortunately I guessed right, but I know from the other reviews that this caused problems for others.

The wood dings up pretty easily. By the time I was done there were a few little dents on some of the edges of the sides and shelves. It doesn't take much to mark it up. It won't be hard to conceal them, but you'll want to be careful so you don't end up with any big scratches.

I would have preferred something nicer than this cabinet but the next level in quality was over twice the price. For what I paid I think this cabinet is quite nice.

The furniture was perfect for my needs, but after unpacking it to assemble it, I realized that there were some deep scratches in the finish. At that point, given the intricate pack job of the product, it was too late and too complicated to be able to repack and ship back for replacement. It's somewhat dissapointing as I really like the piece, but I guess that is a risk of ordering online. Next time, I will buy locally so that if there is an issue, I can have easier resolution.

Here's the solution for the drawer at the bottom. In my case the pre-drilled holes for the slide bracket were not in the correct position. Ignore the pre-drilled holes and install the slide bracket on the side panel further back so that the top of the bracket (the part closest to you) right at the line toward the front of the cabinet (a line in the design). Your drawer will close properly. If you get it wrong you have to take the drawer apart in order to try again. Hang in there, it's beautiful!
