Bestar is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of ready-to-assemble home office and home entertainment furniture. Its head office and manufacturing facility are located in Lac-Megantic, Quebec, Canada. The company started by making the first ready-to-assemble furniture in Canada — a small bookcase to hold encyclopedias. The encyclopedias were sold door-to-door.
