Comments about Ameriwood Industries Carina 42" W Computer Desk with Keyboard Shelf - Oak:

Once again, remember the phrase, "you get what you pay for" because it rings true in this case. Of course there is no actual "oak" involved in this desk- only a plastic laminate over particle board. Then again, for the price I didn't expect any hardwood! I did, however, expect that it would be a little less wobbly! The slide out keyboard tray also feels a little flimsy- as if I shouldn't put too much pressure on it or it might snap off. Mind you, nothing bad has happened so far, these are just my impressions after using it for a month or so...
