We actually bought 2 of these desks to put side-by-side behind our couch in our family room. Our intention was to be able to watch TV at the same time we're on our separate computers and it has been working out great. The only problem is trying to keep our dogs in front of us and not laying all around our chairs - this isn't working out as well.
